If you ever go to Portimao (Algarve, Portugal) then stop for a bite to eat at „Restaurante Marisqueira Carvi“! It is great! The restaurant inside is tiled with „azulejos“, the traditional Portugues tiles in blue and white colours.
I had the chance to take some photos in that typical Portugues restaurant kitchen where two cooks dressed in white cook on gas stoves for many people sitting inside and outside the restaurant. The kitchen is really small but that’s no problem for them as they are really good organized. Carlos, the owner of the restaurant cuts the dark red filet on the table in the middle of the tiny kitchen. The pots are boiling and bubbling peacefully nearby. I can smell the fragrance of grilled squid, spicy tomato sauce and roasted garlic. Gorgeous!
So try it – you will be impressed!
